In 2002, Lee Martin moved his law practice to Concord and began representing clients who had been injured. He had previously worked for 10 years defending workers compensation and personal injury cases on behalf of employers and insurance carriers. He opened this firm in February of 2002 with the intent of providing the same level of service and expertise to injured workers in the Cabarrus County and surrounding communities. He has tried over a 100 cases to a decision before the North Carolina Industrial Commission.
In 2006, he was certified by the North Carolina State Bar as a specialist in workers compensation law, the only attorney in Cabarrus County that has achieved that distinction.
His practice also involves the mediation of workers compensation and personal injury claims. Since 2002, he has mediated over 400 workers compensation claims, which gives him a unique perspective on the handling of workers compensation claims.
As part of the firms practice, it also provides assistance in Social Security Disability Claims and other personal injury litigation.
