In 2002, Lee Martin moved his law practice to Concord and began representing clients who had been injured. He had previously worked for 10 years defending workers' compensation and personal injury cases on behalf of employers and insurance carriers. He opened this firm in February of 2002 with the intent of providing the same level of service and expertise to injured workers in Cabarrus County and surrounding communities. He has tried more than 100 cases to decisions before the North Carolina Industrial Commission.
In 2006, he was certified by the North Carolina State Bar as a specialist in workers' compensation law, the only attorney in Cabarrus County who has achieved that distinction.
His practice also involves the mediation of workers' compensation and personal injury claims. Since 2002, he has mediated more than 800 workers' compensation claims, which gives him a unique perspective on the handling of workers' compensation claims.
